Macau Tower Observation Deck Experience

Macau Tower Observation Deck ExperienceAdrenaline junkies will surely heart the Macau Tower! It is a popular place for thrill seekers who want to experience the highest bungee jump in the world.

Macau Tower might look ordinary from afar but once you reach the top level of it, you can see a breathtaking panoramic view of the skyscrapers of the entire Macau Peninsula.

For those who have the guts to do the world’s highest bungee jump, the mast climb, or the Skywalk X, one of the first of its kind in the world, then Macau Tower is the perfect spot for you. But if you’re not into extreme sports, spending time at the observation deck would be enough!

The view from the platform is fantastic. Parts of the floor are made of glass so you can clearly see the ground below. Looking down can make your legs a bit wobbly! Besides the views on offer, there’s also a film theater and a variety of restaurants and shops in the tower. Worth checking out is the famous 360° CafĂ©, the revolving restaurant located at the 60th floor that offers international buffet.

If you’re planning to visit the Macau Tower, I suggest you go there late afternoon when the sun is about to set. This is the perfect time to see a good view of Macau’s shift from daylight into dusk, and how dimness is replaced with colorful lights of hotel casinos and buildings at Central Macau.

Macau Tower is open from 10am to 9pm. Entrance fee costs MOP$100 (12US$).

How to Get to Macau Tower

The cheapest option to get to Macau Tower is by taking the public bus. Buses are frequent and the routes 5, 5AX, 9A, 18, 18B, 23, 26, 32 and N2 will take you to there.

Alternatively, taxis are readily available at the airport, the ferry terminal, or simply flag one down on a nearby road. Please note that taxis in Macau are metered and charge a flag-down rate of MOP 17.
